The FireSok cavity fire barrier gives wall cavities one-hour fire integrity and insulation. It’s a simple, convenient and effective way to deliver tested fire protection for cavity walls.
Sizes to suit all building types
FireSok comes in a range of sizes to fit cavities from 50mm to 125mm. It is fitted horizontally and vertically around openings, at junctions and between floors to provide one-hour fire resistance.
The FireSok cavity fire barrier is available in two models:
- The ‘standard’ version without flanges is ideal for brick and blockwork walls, where it is simply wedged into the cavity with no need for fixings.
- The ‘flanged’ version is designed to be pinned into the cavities on timber or steel-framed buildings.
Deliberately oversized, the FireSok cavity barrier is designed for a compression-fit, ensuring it sits securely within the cavity.
Fully fire-tested for guaranteed performance
FireSok products are fully fire-tested by Chiltern International in accordance with BS 476. The products achieve one hour of tested fire protection in both horizontal and vertical positions.
